Our team

We are a small team that is big on experience. Based in Auckland, we work across a wide range of industries designing and delivering documentation and training. We specialise in developing policy/procedure/user manuals, developing training materials, creating forms and templates, and writing proposals.

Ruth Hamilton | Director

Ruth trained and worked as a teacher, in the UK and NZ, before a career change introduced her to the world of technical communication and led to the launch of WritersInc in 1998. 

Ruth has extensive experience and particularly enjoys helping clients with all aspects of their documentation - from write winning proposals, to creating time-saving templates, and improving productivity by developing clear and concise processes and procedures.

Ruth also develops and delivers effective business writing training.

Niki Bailey | Senior Technical Writer

Niki joined WritersInc in 2006 when her eldest daughter started school.

After a background in IT and working as a BA where writing documentation was part of the role, Niki enjoyed learning how to structure documents and develop her writing skills.

These days Niki works full-time for WritersInc and enjoys the variety of projects she gets to work on as there’s always something new to learn enabling her to pass on suggestions to our clients.
