Their need

Jacinda announced the move from Level 4 Alert to Level 3. Anthea Baker called us immediately, as she needed help in deciding if Homebase, a home staging company, would be able to operate under Level 3 and if so, what protocols would she need to implement.

Our solution

We quickly wrote protocols including:

• an introduction to Covid-19, the symptoms, how it is spread, and how to protect yourself and others
• Hygiene and physical distancing relevant to managing a homestaging event
• Traveling to and from sites and delivering goods
• Cleaning goods and client sites.

We also provided a short statement to inform real estate agents and homeowners that for Alert Level 3:

• Homestaging was for unoccupied properties only
• Homebase operating procedures were compliant with government guidelines.

Outcome

Anthea Baker, the owner was able to train her staff, inform and assure customers and her company, Homebase, operated again from day 1, Alert Level 3.
